RN’s, LPN’s and CNA’s at the Long Island State Veterans Home are empowered to deliver world-class care in an intellectually stimulating environment, located on the campus of Stony Brook University. Our professional model of providing exceptional resident care consists of the following components: Evidence-Based Practice, Caring and Leadership. Collaboration, Communication and Professional Development combined, allow the Long Island State Veterans Home to provide the highest level of resident care. We are seeking those applicants with the highest level of expertise in the following areas

  • Geriatric Nursing Care
  • Cognitive Impairment
  • Short-term Rehabilitation
  • Respiratory Care
  • Adult Day Health Care
  • I.V. Therapy
  • Palliative/Hospice Care
